According to a report in The NY Post, Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Ortho McNeil has begun settling Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch claims and estimates that there are approximately 500 serious injury victims, compared to less than 100 such victims with oral contraceptives. The report states that "Ortho McNeil has settled a dozen lawsuits for millions of dollars in the last few months."
